RainbowPeace – was made in 1999 and was inspired by Greenpeace and their work with their Rainbow Warrior boat.

As her name suggests she has rainbow-coloured features – such as her intricately hand woven nose, and plaited hair made from reclaimed tapestry wool & hemp twine. Her hemp silk dress consists of individual petals, and each petal has hand embroidered blanket stitch edging, all in a different colour.

Coloured wooden beads are also incorporated in RainbowPeace’s locks.

Her paws & ears are made from reclaimed felt in different colours too.
